In mid-2026, Wujiang Shuguang Chemical Co., Ltd.’s core product, Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO), has obtained approval of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) and has been formally included in the latest FAO/WHO joint evaluation report.
The joint evaluation by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the World Health Organization is one of the most authoritative certification systems in the field of global public health. This certification not only imposes extremely stringent requirements on the active ingredient content and impurity control of products, but also serves as an important entry threshold for public health procurement by United Nations agencies and numerous countries worldwide.
