Rotation: +2 o ~ +4 o. 
it is insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol, ether, chloroform and acetic acid. Main ingredient is safrole, content reaches to 80%. And it also includes eugenol, camphor, and pinene, etc.. Safrole oil commonly used as fungicides and preservatives in medicine and preparation of drinks, sweets, soap and other flavors as well.
